I have a confession. I actually was very hesitant to visit Italy. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm Italian and I felt like I wanted to visit other countries before seeing where my ancestors came from. If I could go back to that time I would hit myself. Italy is absolutely the most amazing place I have ever been and I've been to a lot of places. The people, the culture, and the PASTA! The most beautiful, simple ingredients dance in your mouth like a party and your soul just feels happy. One of the many amazing places to eat in Rome is a little deli called Roscioli. You absolutely need to make a reservation but the food, the deli, the service, the wine, and the ambiance are simply superb! Your soul will feel very happy leaving this place. Trust me, I'm Italian. No really.
